How to Stay Grounded With Life’s Challenges

There are myriads of emotions  that go inside of you when you have an adult child still suffering from drug addiction.  This affects the parents especially with the mothers because it is the natural responsibility of the mothers to rear for their child. There is guilt, denial and anger but most of these emotions can be dealt with when you know how to stay grounded.

It is very crucial for parents to feel grounded so that they are not operating in a crisis mode – emotionally, mentally, financially.

This solo episode of Gail is something close to her heart because she has experienced it and is still ongoing with her adult child’s addiction.  She has found that acceptance is the key and part of that acceptance are the decisions that they made as parents which contributed to the addiction.
